Come write about everything — the good, the bad, and the rest of it. No previous writing experience necessary. Molly will teach her technique for boosting your immune function, and we'll do in-class exercises on every subject under the sun. If you can make a grocery list, you can do this kind of writing. Bring pen and paper. Kleenex and chocolate provided.

A Voice of Your Own: An Internet Workshop for Women
Write Intimately, Truthfully, and Fearlessly

in the Tradition of Mary Oliver and Anne Lamott

Molly teaches this class both on-line, over six weeks, and in person, for one day.

On-Line Tuition $285
2013 Dates:       July 8 - August 16           October 28 - December 6

In-Person Tuition $97
2013 Dates:       May 18        August 18        November 10

In this workshop you'll learn to listen for your own voice and nurture it, even if you've never written before. We'll look at why Mary Oliver and Anne Lamott, two very different writers, have connected with women so deeply. Using model poems, prose excerpts, playful writing exercises, and discussion, participants will discover what they want to say and how to say it in a way that is uniquely personal. We'll practice managing internal and external criticism (every writer's — and every woman's — bane), and discover who we're really writing for. Click here for more information and to register.

Poetry Boot Camp

This on-line workshop is an amazing way to generate new work and receive kind, intelligent critique in a short period of time. It's a true jump-start. After ten years, Poetry Boot Camp's structure and pricing have changed. It's now a five-day workshop, running Sunday through Thursday, and tuition is $385. You will write five new poems, have each one critiqued both by Molly and by a fellow participant, and have the opportunity to talk to Molly individually by phone about your work.

Remaining 2013 Boot Camps will be held:
May 12-16 (Revision)    July 21-25    September 22-26 (Revision)   November 3-7
